1. About these terms
These launch-draft terms apply to qabbad.com and Qabbad's related services. The operating legal entity, registration details and registered address must be added before public launch.
2. Qabbad is a marketplace
Qabbad helps customers describe a job, discover providers, receive quotes, communicate and record a booking. Qabbad does not perform the underlying work. Providers are independent businesses responsible for their own services, licences, tax, insurance, pricing and legal obligations.
3. Accounts and truthful information
Users must provide accurate information, keep account access secure and use Qabbad only for lawful services. Providers must keep their business, service area, availability, qualifications and pricing information current.
4. Quotes and bookings
- A quote should clearly describe its scope, assumptions, call-out fee, estimate and proposed appointment times.
- A booking is created when the customer accepts a quote and time.
- Material changes to scope or price should be agreed in writing through Qabbad before the additional work is performed.
- Qabbad does not currently collect customer payments, deposits or cancellation charges.
5. Payment and cancellation
Customers and providers arrange payment directly. Any deposit, cancellation fee, warranty or refund is part of their separate agreement and must comply with applicable consumer law. The platform records cancellations but does not automatically charge either party.
6. Verification
A Qabbad verification badge means only that the checks named on the profile were completed using the information available at that time. It is not a guarantee of identity, workmanship, solvency, safety or future conduct. Users should make reasonable checks appropriate to the work.
7. Reviews and acceptable use
Reviews must reflect a genuine completed booking. Users may not post unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, misleading, defamatory or privacy-invasive material; manipulate reviews; scrape the service; bypass security; or use Qabbad to spam others.
8. Reports, suspension and disputes
Qabbad may investigate reports, restrict content, suspend accounts or preserve evidence where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance or platform integrity. The customer and provider remain responsible for resolving disputes about the underlying work, without limiting mandatory rights under Maltese or EU law.
9. Liability and governing law
The final liability, consumer-rights, indemnity, governing-law and dispute-resolution clauses require review by Maltese counsel before launch. Nothing in these terms will exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
